Kinetic is a boutique commercial real estate brokerage, founded in 2020 by husband-wife duo Keat Chew and Elizabeth Chew. When the world stood still, we continued collaborating with individuals who took a chance on their passion ventures and guided many to securing their first lease. We also navigated the nuisances of finding expansion opportunities on behalf of established operators, freeing up their time so they can focus on running their businesses.
And as landlords battle to keep up with the ever-changing real estate market and contemplate long-term relationships with prospective tenants, Kinetic serves as an advisor and resource to fully support our client’s best interest.
Keat Chew is the Principal Broker of Kinetic and has a near-decade experience in the commercial real estate industry. Since 2014, Keat has been working closely with young entrepreneurs and small business owners in securing their first commercial spaces — helping to turn their passion into reality. He believes that no dream is too small to pursue and “the journey of a thousand miles begin with one step.”
Some of Keat’s most notable work include bringing VITAL Climbing Gym to Brooklyn which he spearheaded the negotiations on behalf of Cayuga Capital; and represented Welcome Services, an affiliate of 99 Ranch Market on the transaction of their first NYC distribution center in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
Keat is fluent in Cantonese (廣東話), Mandarin (普通話), and Hakka (客家話). He is also fluent in Google Translate for all other languages. If you’re trying to reach him, you may find Keat munching away at your nearest Korean friend chicken joint.
Elizabeth Chew is the founding Partner and the backbone of Kinetic. She began her career in the commercial real estate industry in 2018 as a support to a team of brokers in a Brooklyn-based brokerage.
At Kinetic, Liz is the creative behind the marketing campaigns, the bookkeeper maintaining the company’s financial transactions, and the administrator. In addition, she compiles and manages the company’s database of prospective tenants, landlords, and brokers.
